Renewing Cloakbox TomatoVPN

When you ordered your Cloakbox, you should have received a welcome email, within that email is some important details needed for renewing your Cloakbox. Here is a sample:
To renew your Cloakbox, go to this link on our shopping cart (if you have already renewed, just skip this step).
You will be asked for your w#, please enter it in the format w00xxxxx. After placing the order and paying for your renewal, our implementation team will be notified of the renewal. You will receive an email confirmation for the order, and then a second email containing your updated Client Certificate as soon as it is ready. This process is manual so please be patient while we process the renewal (usually 1-2 business days).
Here is how you do the update:
- Using the login information provided in your welcome letter, log into your Cloakbox using your favorite web browser.
- Click on “VPN Tunneling” on the left hand side (near the bottom, you may have to scroll down) and then Click "Client"
- If the VPN is running, Click "Stop" to turn off the VPN while you make the changes
- Click on the Keys tab within Client 1 and look for the section called “Client Certificate”.
- While the text box is small, the Public Client Certificate is LARGER than shown in the box; however it begins with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and ends with -----END CERTIFICATE-----. You need to ERASE all of the text in the box. DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER SETTINGS UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY WITOPIA SUPPORT STAFF AS YOU RISK PERMANENTLY DAMAGING YOUR CLOAKBOX.
- From the email you receive (containing your new certificate) from WiTopia Certificate Support COPY & PASTE the entire Client Certificate into the Public Client Cert box on your Cloakbox. The Client Certificate will look something like this:
- After PASTING the new Client Certificate into the Cloakbox, click "Save", then Click "Start Now" to restart the VPN.
- That's it! Your Cloakbox has been renewed for the next year.
