The default configuration for WiTopia's Cloakbox™ service is to utilize DNS (Domain Name System) to randomly connect you to one of WiTopia's Secure Internet Gateways. This is just the default configuration for all CloakBoxes we ship. This may not be the closest server to you, or the best option for your specific needs. We also have available alternate port servers you can use if the UDP protocol is blocked.
When you ordered your Cloakbox, you should have received a welcome email, within that email are some important details needed for logging in and changing your Cloakbox. Here is a sample:
1. Using the login information provided in your welcome letter, log into your Cloakbox™ using your favorite web browser.
2. Click on “VPN Tunneling” on the left hand side (near the bottom, you may have to scroll down) and then Click "Client"
- Click "Stop" to turn off the VPN while you make the changes.
3. Change the following (we'll use Manchester, UK in our example: CLICK HERE FOR SERVER OPTIONS
4. Then click "Save", then Click "Start Now" to restart the VPN.
